Radio West Suffolk has made it to the shortlist of the HBA Awards 2009, which take place in Blackpool at the end of this month

The interview with David Croft by Brian Stoneham and produced by Sue Coombes has been shortlisted in the Best Speech category, David Croft is the writer of such great British comedies as ‘Dad’s Army’ and ‘Are You Being Served?’

Margo Down Under, following the trip with Julie MacLeod to New Zealand in 2008 has been shortlisted in the Special Event category. Produced by Grant Greetham and held technically together by Serge Auckland the station engineer, the incredible coincidence of Julie meeting parents of an SHO based at the West Suffolk Hospital was truly a chance in a million.
